Who we are
Not a hype machine. A play journal.
WarriorBladeFrontier.ink started as a zine handed out at Melbourne fighting-game nights. Today it's a four-person newsroom that logs every hour we spend in a game before a word goes live — no review scores from a two-hour preview build.
We cover RPGs, soulslikes, tactics and the odd cozy farming sim, always with the receipts: frame data, patch diffs and save files. If a boss is unfair, we say so.
How we work
Finish it, then write it.
Every full review carries a completion badge — hours played, difficulty cleared, and whether we platinumed it. Guides are re-tested after each major patch so the strats you read still land tonight.
No affiliate paywalls, no sponsored verdicts. The studio runs on reader subscriptions and the amber bulbs stay on because of it.
